Applications Testing
On-line 4 channel, condition monitoring device suitable for the on-line measurement and monitoring of Partial Discharge (PD) activity in medium voltage (3.3kV to 36kV) substations.
User Interface
The HVPD Mini Monitor™ has been designed with an easy-to-understand, intuitive user interface which allows the user to carry out both 'spot-tests' and extended monitoring.
The interface panel consists of 4x PD Level LED arrays for the TEV1, TEV2, CT1 and CT2. These 7-level LED arrays provide an instant measure (six times per second) of PD levels in the cable/plant to which the sensors are attached. This functionality is useful when the HVPD Mini Monitor™ is being set-up in the substation as it allows the user to quickly identify where the main source(s) of PD are when there are a number of cable circuits or switchgear panels in the substation.
