HVPD Exhibits at INSUCON, Birmingham, 26 - 28 May 2009

INSUCON, a well established, industry focused conference, will see HVPD - having been accepted for publication - presenting a Partial Discharge Measurement paper entitled "On-line Partial Discharge Testing Deployment for High Voltage Cable Sealing Ends and Terminations." (1)

The Electrical Insulation Association (EIA) is holding its 11th International Electrical Insulation Conference (INSUCON) in Birmingham, UK, in May 2009. INSUCON has been organised by the Electrical Insulation Association for over 10 years and is co-sponsored by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

INSUCON 2009 will be held at Austin Court, which is the IET Centre in Birmingham, from Tuesday 26 - Thursday 28 May 2009.

INSUCON attracts engineers, consultants and university researchers from all over the world. The conference spans the whole range of materials, processes and products used in engineering applications, directed at medium and high voltage equipment.

The papers cover the topics of Transformer Dielectric Fluids, Cables, Outdoor Insulation, Converter Driven Machines, Rotating Machines Materials and Performance, Partial Discharge, Condition Monitoring, HV Measurements, Rotating Machines Diagnostics and Nanocomposites.

Extending our presence at INSUCON, HVPD's Technical Director, Dr Ross Mackinlay, has been invited to Chair a session which will cover HV Measurements and Condition Monitoring Techniques. (2)

HVPD will be exhibiting our products and solutions within the exhibition stand area; please feel free to come along and visit us.

If you miss the opportunity to visit HVPD at INSUCON, we will also be presenting a paper and exhibiting our products at the CIRED 2009 Exhibition in Prague which will take place from 8 - 11 June 2009.

(1) HVPD paper will be presented from 11:30 - 13:00 on Tuesday, 26 May 2009: Session 2 - Partial Discharge Measurements.

(2) Session 8 - HV Measurements and Condition Monitoring Techniques will be Chaired by Dr Ross Mackinlay from 15:35 - 17:30 on Wednesday, 27 May 2009.
