HVPD Exhibit 4-Phase Technology at Energy 21C 2009. The 10th International Transmission and Distribution Conference & Exhibition in Melbourne, Australia will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, 6-9 September 2009.

The launch of HVPD's 4-phase Partial Discharge diagnostic and monitoring technology complements the key themes of the conference; networks, competencies and asset management.

More than 2,000 delegates from Australia and overseas are expected to attend Energy 21C to explore asset management and technology issues that meet customer expectations for performance, not only in terms of reliable supply, but also in environmental sustainability benchmarks.

Two of the dominating topics of the Energy 21C conference will be smart network systems and demand management strategies. HVPD's Managing Director Dr Lee Renforth said, "HVPD's diagnostic technology and our new, portable partial discharge monitoring solutions enable asset managers of large utility MV networks to improve the reliability of their networks. The largest savings, both financially and environmentally, in the network running costs are to be made in deferring and/or targeting capital replacement programmes of the cable population.

Our products and services have been benefitting our utility and industrial customers throughout Australia since 2005 for the condition monitoring of high voltage plant in PD testing applications such as switchgear, cables, transformers and motors and generators.
