HVPD Co-host Cable Testing Seminar

HVPD will be co-hosting a Cable Test Seminar on 1st December 2011, at National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, UK.

HVPD will be co-hosting SEBA KMT UK’s second annual Cable Test Seminar. The event gives a unique opportunity to view new cable testing methods, standards, and case studies for systems from 11kV to 132kV. The seminar is open across the industry: from the utility sector, the renewables sector, and contractors and is likely to attract a wide variety of industry experts.

During the event, there will be various discussions and presentations taking place on various aspects of cable test equipment as handled by SebaKMT such as VLF and OWTS. HVPD has been invited to co-host the event this year to present On-line PD Testing and Monitoring techniques and case studies for in-service MV and HV cables.

The event is free of charge and is an excellent opportunity to share in the wide range of experience and knowledge on offer; as well as participating in discussions regarding key aspects of various types of cable testing including failure modes of different types of cables, application of test methods for on-shore and off-shore applications.

Venue: Premier Suite, The National Motorcycle Museum, near the NEC, Birmingham. This venue has excellent facilities and a lunch, tea and coffees will be provided.
